January 1, 2016 Happy New Year A quick look back at the TT-Scale and TT-Tracks highlights of 2015: A good setup at Western Rails a good display in Victoria A Great display the Portland 2015 NMRA National Train Show. A good display at Vancouver Train Expo at the PNR Forum. 2015 was a good year for TT-Scale!

January 1, 2016 This is Indianapolis NMRA National Year! There is some interest in going to the show. The layout would be driven there in a trailer and others would fly or arrive by train. Much planning to do.

June 11 & 12, 2016 We had our first setup at the BC Society of Model Engineers (BCSME) as a pre setup for the NMRA Indianapolis National Train Show. We setup Friday evening and ran Saturday and Sunady. As part of the teardown we documented what module went into which box in which layer: bottom, middle or top. With a few changes because of module changes, we are still using that organization. Bjoern had his new Baseball Diamond module, Tibi had two parts of his projected mine module. My abandoned spur, and abandoned crossing moduile were there.

Late June 2016 I contacted a modeller who was able to laser cut me a pair of basic straight modules. They are easy to twist but are more dimesionally accurate than any of my foam cut modules. I may start rebuilding some of my older modules. The two kits I purchased became the station module and the swayback module. The module surface has the location lines for the two mainlines and the two tracks in front of and behind these. Shown here being glued together.

July 7-10, 2016 in Indianapolis The NMRA Mational was in Indianapolis in 2016. Bjoern, Tibi and Terry decided to go. Tibi and Bjoern drove the layout down to Indianpolis in a trailer behind Tibis VW Golf. Terry came down by Amrak. Anja flew down on Friday. Tne layout was setup on the Thursday. Much care was taken in leveling tables to reduce running problems. Friday was the first display day. At the last moment I decided I had to go and see the display. I flew a horrible United Redeye from Vancouver to Chicago. Arrived early in the AM. Waited for customs to open. Then another flight in a Small plane to Indianpolis. Arrived later morning, taxi to the Hotel, shower and change and walk to the convention center. Indianpolis has a network of covered walkways connjecting all major hotels to the concention center. Arrived at the display around 1 PM. The display was running well. A tribute to the time Bjoern and Tibi spent setting up the display. Dinner after the display closed then back to the hotel to crash. Sunday was a good day, running and cruising the convention hall. Did not buy a thing! Shut down at 5 PM and help backup and load. Tibi, Bjoern and Anja drove home. Tery went back by train and I flew back on Monday. The return flights were much better except that they tripped an incipent medical problem which messed up the next three months until surgery, then recovery until late February. Still despite the exhaustion and medical issue, it was a Great Show.

October 2017 As it was too close to my surgery I was not able to go to Chillwack but the guys had a small display there.

November 04-06 2016, Vancouver Train Expo We had another gopod display at the 2016 Vancouver Train Expo. Voytek had two double modules there. The attendees were myself, Bjoern, Anja, Terry, Graeme, Tibi, Voytek, Richard and Xenia. We went for a group Diner Friday and Saturday evening. It was a Good show but a bit bittersweet as it was the last show Bjoern and Anja would be with us.
